Fresh Hope
Mixed Media
91 x 122
This was the first painting I did after finding out we would be moving to Paris. Painted during Covid lockdowns it provided a "Fresh Hope" for a new adventure in France.
Putting Down Roots 100 x 140
My first Paris painting "Putting Down Roots" reveals the inner life of an artist surprisingly emerging on the canvas.
Bon 91 x 122
Looking toward Paris I painted "Bon" with a new freedom of expression I hadn't experienced before.
The Gold Within 91 x1 22
This piece captures a sense of playful abandon where the painting very quickly revealed itself and I had to stop myself from destroying that freshness.
Ohlala
122 x 152
Acrylic on Canvas
My biggest painting to date, this was created for my new home in Paris. It expressed a freedom I hadn't experienced before which I believe shows in the painting. But I sold it.
Everlasting 100 x 150
This painting emerged and I forced myself to STOP because it had a special beauty in its simplicity.
Dig for Gold 120x150
The many layers of life reveal challenges that unearth hidden treasures in the deep.
Rooted 80 x 120
This painting reflected my intention to become rooted as we established ourselves in our beautiful French Moulin (Mill)
Carrickreeve
This piece can be hung vertically (a landscape) or horizontally (rock formation) with a completely different feel -
It could be because it is green, or because of my Irish roots but I titled it "Carrickreeve" which means Reeve Rock".

Rivers Through the Desert
I am finding my rhythm and place of centered peace. For me this painting combines the lyrical movement of water and the fortitude of rock.
Rock that Color 61 x 91
I love the texture of this piece and the contrast of the greys with my favourite colour of turquoise.
Oceanesque 20 x 20
Like the rhythm of the waves this small splash of color whispers tranquility.
Blue Stone 15.24x15.24
This little painting inspires the organic feeling of both water and rock.
Tomorrow 20 x 20
The promise of something beyond; hope for a better tomorrow.
Sparkle Where You are Planted 20x20
This little piece, stirs up feelings of a beautiful garden by bubbling brooks with a sparkle of joy.
Impressions 20 x 20
I love this little piece - it's colors and translucent areas interjected with silver/gray shapes.
Terra 20x20
This reminds me of the rich red soil in Italy.
Gold Stone 15.24 x 15.24
This painting has a golden sparkle that I have never been able to replicate! It reminds me of a sunset.
