About the Artist

Debbie Reeve has always been an artist at heart. She fell in love with the medium of watercolour while studying under Mary Forster in Indonesia. She has also studied under Margaret Roseman, Grant Fuller, Peter Kolisnyk and Art Cunanan in Canada. Her realistic paintings show a love for light and transparency that only watercolours can give. Debbie has traveled extensively and her paintings reflect her delight in the endless variety of beautiful subject matter each new experience affords.

Debbies' paintings hang in private collections in Indonesia, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, France, England, and Korea.

Debbie has been a worship director for 17 years in Canada, America and Indonesia. She is a classically trained singer who started writing music 15 years ago. Debbie has taught worship workshops in the local church in North America and many International Churches in Asia. She continues to sing, speak and write music.

The Bride, released in March of 2009, is her second CD.

Debbie is married to her high school sweetheart, Warren, and together they have three children, Whitney, Courtney and Taylor. They presently reside in Ontario, Canada.

Artist Statement :

"I strive to capture the beauty of creation through my watercolour paintings. When viewed through a fresh perspective it is my hope that the viewer will be lifted to a new appreciation of the world around them, and to the One who created it. I am fascinated and challenged by the medium of watercolour, by both its happy free-flow nature and the precise forethought and skill required to master it. "
